1  Japanese Rice
1.2  Water
 
 

  Directions:

  
 
Rinse the rice with cold water. Change the water a couple times.
Soak the rice with cold water for 30 minutes.
(Please refer to the recipe's ratio.)
Use the rice cooker to cook*.
(See the rice cooker instruction.)
*Cook for 15 minutes and leave it without opening the lid for 15 minutes.
Place the cooked rice into a large bowl.
Distribute the sushi vinegar over the cooked rice.
Mix rice and sushi vinegar. Use the shamoji to loosen a lump of rice.

The rate which sushi vinegar mixes with rice 
 Uncooked Rice 3 cup* / 540mL
Sushi Vinegar 100mL 

*For this recipe, 1 cup is 180mL.
